Many athletes have been recognized as all-conference and all-state, including a few who have competed at the Division 1 level. CHS Vball is unmatched in Iowa in terms of its student – athletes recognized for academic achievement. CHS Volleyball has made 7 state tournament appearances (including 2 state runners-up finishes), won 5 conference championships, and is often rated among the top 10-15 teams in Iowa. CHS athletes have been recognized for their sportsmanship on multiple occasions and always try to exemplify the qualities of perseverance, effort, and teamwork.
