Pre School Program
Bluff Preschool opened at the start of the 2011-12 school year, offering both AM and PM sessions Monday through Friday. Hours for the morning session are 9:00 - 11:30 and afternoons from 12:00 - 2:30. Children turning four years of age by September 15 of the year of attendance are eligible to attend at no charge. Transportation is also provided free of cost, either from the child's home or from a caregiver's address, if living in the south half of Clinton.
Preschool classes include both general education students and students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) enrolled in the special education program. Bluff Preschool is co-taught by a general education teacher, Mrs. Denise Bussie, and a special education teacher, Mrs. Sara Feldpausch. Students also receive assistance in their classroom through services provided by two para-educators.
Mrs. Bussie and Mrs. Feldpausch provide a nurturing classroom environment along with a diversified curriculum that allows students the opportunity to develop social, academic, and physical skills needed to succeed in kindergarten.
Application forms are available at the Clinton Administration Center, 1401 12th Avenue North. Additional information can be found under the Parent Information tab, Four-Year-Old Pre-School Program.
