Hank Dihlmann

Hank Dihlmann was a 1936 graduate of Mason City High School. Dihlmann started at KROS radio in 1942. After a stint in the army during World War II, he returned to KROS and did the play by play of Clinton High School football and basketball for over 40 years, with his last broadcast coming in March of 1986. Dihlmann was known as the “Voice of the River Kings.” Dihlmann also did the broadcast of minor league baseball in Clinton for 26 years and served as the general manager of the station from 1976 to his retirement in 1987.
