Shauna (Geronzin) Green – Class of 1998
Induction Class of 2014 – Basketball, Volleyball
Green is a 1998 graduate of Clinton High School. Green was an outstanding multi-sport athlete. In volleyball, she still ranks in the top five all-time in career kills and blocks. As a basketball player, Green was named 1st Team All-State and led her team to the 1998 state basketball tournament.
After high school, Green continued her playing career at Canisius University, where she became a four-time All-Conference selection and a three-time team most valuable player. In 2012, Green was selected to Canisius’s Hall of Fame. After her playing career ended Green moved into the coaching ranks. After stints at Providence, Loras, and Daytona University, she moved to Northwestern University where she is currently serving as assistant head coach in basketball.
