Ken Kroemer

Kroemer is a 1958 graduate of Lowden High School, where he was a standout in basketball and baseball. He attended the University of Northern Iowa and was a member of the Panther football squad. Kroemer started his teaching and coaching career at Iowa Valley High School in Marengo, Iowa before moving to Clinton in 1966, where he coached football and wrestling.
Kroemer was extremely active in Clinton athletics, starting the junior football program in 1971. Kroemer was very involved in the River King and Queen Athletic Booster Club. Kroemer also served as the chairman of the Restoring Royalty capital campaign that raised close to four million dollars for facility improvements, including the football stadium and baseball/softball complex.
