Angi Pillers Boone – Class of 1993
Induction Class of 2019 – Swimming & Diving – Track & Field
Angi Boone is a 1993 graduate of Clinton High School. During her sophomore (1990-91) and junior (1991-92) years, Angi was the State of Iowa Diving Champion and as a senior, she was the State Runner-Up. She was also conference and regional champion three consecutive years. During the summers of ’91 and ’92, Angi competed in the USA National Diving Championships and was an Honorary All-American in Diving.
Angi was also a four-year letter winner for the River Queen track and field team where she was a member of a Shuttle Hurdle team and a sprint medley team that qualified for the state track championships. She also qualified individually in the 100 Hurdles.
After high school, Angi attended the University of Arkansas on a full-ride diving scholarship. She competed for the Razorbacks all four years and received a varsity letter each year.
Angi and her two daughters, Breanna and Alexis, reside in Northwest Arkansas.
