The Emma Young Park was founded at the turn of the twentieth century. Emma Young was a longtime educational contributor until her passing in 1926. The land was donated by Helen Thompson. The community has used the pond, playground, softball fields, and cross country track located on the park grounds, for generations. The track is utilized by our Clinton High School Cross Country team.
Emma Young Park is the home of the River Kings & Queens cross country teams. Practices and competitions are held on the grounds.
