THIS IS A DRILL.
Dear CCSD Community,
Clinton High School will be running a reunification drill today in response to a simulated intruder event. Staff and students will use their "Run, Hide, Fight" training and make decisions based on current information and their training. Law enforcement will be present and monitor the response. A subset of the student population has volunteered to be part of the reunificiation event as well.
The district was trained in School Safety and Violent Incident Management in January 2023. The structures taught to emergency responders, law enforcement, and school personnel and students represents the best training for these events.
CCSD is appreciative of the support of law enforcement, first responders, and the community at large in keeping our staff and students safe.
Remember, TODAY IS A DRILL.
