The Arts
Scott Morehead (CHS Class of 2000) fell in love with acting and improvisation thanks to Clinton educators Cindy Rasche and Stacy Hansen. After graduating from Iowa State with a degree in Theatre, Scott headed to Chicago to pursue a professional career in acting and improvisation, appearing in commercials, television, film, and on stage at the world-famous iO theatre and, most notably, as a resident company member of The Second City. While there, Scott wrote and performed in two critically-acclaimed comedy revues: Soul Brother, Where Art Thou? and A Red Line Runs Through It. As a result of his work at SC, Scott was invited to “30 Rock” in New York City where he performed on the historic Studio 8H sound stage in a screen-test audition for Saturday Night Live. While Scott has performed all over the world with many celebrities, his passion remains spreading the joy of improvisation through the theatre company he co founded with his talented and beautiful wife.
