We have a very special Gold Key Award recipient this month: Lavina Reed
Lavina's husband and children (pictured) accepted the award at last night's board meeting as Lavina passed away in December. Lavina was a wonderful mentor and advocate for Bluff Elementary students, staff and families for 22 years. She was instrumental in developing and organizing many programs. She was a voice for all children and did her all to prepare them for life's challenges.
Lavina is most deserving and we are happy to know that she knew she was receiving the Gold Key. We are forever grateful for Lavina's dedication to our CCSD students. Thank you, Lavina.

5th grade full band will meet every Wednesday and Friday morning beginning tomorrow, 10/25, at 7:15am in the Clinton Middle School band room. Students may be dropped off as early as 6:45, and they will be bused back to their elementary schools after rehearsal. Students should bring their instrument and their blue Sound Innovations book. Attention parents of 5th grade students: Clinton Bands are having an instrument rental night on Tuesday, September 26th, at the middle school 5:30-7:30 in the library. It will be open house style, so you can come anytime between there. This will be a great time to get any questions answered, and we will have Tegeler music on site to rent instruments that night as well!

Lego Club starts this Friday! This is for 1st and 2nd graders only. This will be every Friday in the library at 7:15. Students must eat breakfast before going to Lego Club.
