Congratulations to Mr. Camp for being staff of the week! Mr. Camp consistently provides clear explanations and expectations. He is always approachable, encouraging questions, and he is willing to help a student with any problem!
Girls Tennis practice is outdoors at Max Lynn Tennis Courts today for everyone to come to from 4 to 5:30pm. Bring your $17 dollars for your team shirt to practice today or tomorrow. Don't forget the tennis web store is open if you wish to make a purchase. It closes tomorrow. Make sure you have all paperwork in at the athletic director's office.
Pride Club will be hosting a game night on Tuesday the 25th after school! We will be having snacks, board games, and a fun atmosphere to ease you back into school after Spring Break. Be sure to stop by and have a good time!
Girls soccer - practice begins today at the complex! Be ready to go by 4:30! You must have been cleared by the activities office in order to participate. See Feaster with any questions.

Let's see your River King spirit! Football cheer applications are now available at Mrs. Kooi's desk! You must bring a completed app to cheer clinics on March 31 and/or April 1st with tryouts on April 2 in Yourd gym at CHS! Hope to see you there!
An admissions rep from Iowa State University will be visiting the counseling office on Thursday, March 27th at 9:00 am. Please let Mrs. Klinkhammer know if you are interested in attending.
Golden Ticket Day will take place on Thursday, March 27. To qualify for a Golden Ticket, students must have achieved an 80% or higher in all of their classes on the last Friday grade posting. Those who qualify will enjoy a day that includes a trip to the bowling alley, a school lunch upon return, and a visit to the Clinton Theater.
Congratulations to the CHS Speech Team on their Individual Events Competition on March 15th. Out of 12 events, 5 events received a Division 2 rating, including Alyssa Determan and Haylee House in Improv, Haylee Dolash and Mazzy Jensen in Original Oratory, and Sophia Morley in Reviewing. Seven events received a Division 1 rating, including Lillian Asay, Leilani Calvillo, and Mazzy Jensen in Musical Theater, Eloise Brisch in Expository Address, Rhys Bostic in After Dinner Speaking and Acting, and Alyssa Determan in Acting. Way to go!
A special congratulations to our All-State Speech Performers, Lillian Asay and Leilani Calvillo! They will be performing at the Individual Event All-State Festival at the University of Northern Iowa on Monday, March 31st, where they will present their musical theater pieces for an audience of students and spectators from across the state. If you see them this week, please congratulate them and wish them luck on their final performance!
