The 4th Annual Northern Region Welding Competition was a huge success, bringing together talent from across the region. This year, we had participation from 12 local businesses in the industry, along with three trade schools, all showcasing their commitment to skilled trades and workforce development. A total of five schools attended the competition, where students demonstrated their welding expertise in a highly competitive environment. We are proud to announce that our very own Nate Stalford secured 1st place in the welding competition! Owan Randal from North East claimed 2nd place, while Sam Robinson from Dewitt earned 3rd place. A big shout-out to Mrs. Rowden and the culinary students for providing a very delicious lunch, keeping everyone fueled and ready for the competition. This event not only highlighted the incredible skill of our participants but also fostered connections between students and industry professionals, paving the way for future opportunities in the welding field. Congratulations to all who competed, and we look forward to an even bigger event next year.
