Seniors: If you haven't received your cap and gown yet. Mrs. Melvin has them at her desk on the 1st floor of the academic wing.
Are you planning to play a sport in college? Sign up outside Room 311 for our after school meeting on April 30th. We will have former collegiate athletes, coaches, and recruiters to answer questions and provide guidance on how to make this dream a reality.
CHS International will have a meeting Today, April 15 after school in Mrs. Krueger's classroom. It's mandatory for students going on a field trip to Chicago.
If you signed up for the variety show please check your email for your audition time. If there are any questions or conflicts please contact Lillian Asay or Leilani Calvillo. If you are interested in signing up there are still open slots for Wednesday after school to audition. Even if you are unsure of what you want to do. If Wednesday doesn’t work for you please email us and we will figure out an alternate time for you. If you are a staff member interested in performing please email us ASAP! Can’t wait to see everyone at the show!
The Royalty Rack will be open for those looking for something to wear to prom. Available time to come take a look will be Today right after school. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Leafgreen.
Boegels MensWear would like to remind the boys to get their tuxes ordered. They donate $1 of every rental back to After Prom.

Even if you don't plan to participate please fill out the form and mark NO. If you do not fill out the form by April 20th it will be assumed that you will not be attending and you will not be able to participate.

Join us in the library for “Read a Latte” Tomorrow, April 16th from 7:40 am until Homeroom, and/or Monday April 28th right after school until 4:15 pm.
Juniors and Seniors: Prom sign-up has started. Attendance bites a lot of people so make sure you are getting those grades passing & paying off your fees. Make sure you check on your requirements in the library after you sign up and make sure your response went through. Sign-up ends on April 25 @ 3:45.
After-School Tutoring is being offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library! There is no cost. We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend! Great way to get grades up for Prom.
This weekend the Special Olympic held their track qualifying event. Khaos Struve did an amazing job in her events. Khaos placed First in the 100 Meter Dash. She also placed 2nd in the softball throw. Congratulations Khaos. Coach Dodd and Bradley are very proud of you.
Correction to yesterday's announcements from the music department - Eloise Brisch earned a Division I rating, and Elena Brisch earned a Division I rating as well as the best-in-center award. Elena will perform again at the IHSMA Outstanding Performance Showcase at Iowa State University in May.
The River Queen golfers went to Glynn’s Creek yesterday for a 9 hole meet. The Queens took 2nd place in the triangular losing to North Scott but beat Davenport North. Bryleigh Shepherd was team medalist with a 55. Also scoring were Olivia Veenstra, Whitney Naughton, and Olivia Parker. The Queens team score of 236 was the lowest team score in two years. Keep improving Queens!
