  • Seniors:  You need to get ALL your fees paid off for Graduation.  Get any library books or headphones returned.  Clean up your computers/cases so once you are done with your classes you can get them returned to the library.


  • If you borrowed a loaner computer or charger you need to get it returned to the library ASAP. The library is out of loaner chargers until they get brought back.


  • Seniors: If you still need to pick up your Cap & Gown they can be picked up from Mrs. Melvin at her desk on the 1st floor of the academic wing. Sooner rather than later. If you have the balance due of $50, please note that CASH (exact change) is the only form of payment Mrs. Melvin can accept.


  • Last night, the River Queens soccer team ran into a buzz saw at Geneseo and were defeated by the Maple Leafs by a score of 9-0. Working hard in goal as usual was Livia Watters who recorded another 17 saves, earning her the "beast mode" chain of the game.  The JV Queens showed improvement against Geneseo since the last time they played, losing by a closer score this time of 5-0.  The Queens return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Bettendorf to take on the Bulldogs. Thank you to our supporters who made the trip to Geneseo to support our Queens!!


  • The River Queen golfers played in the Assumption Triangular taking 3rd place.  The Queens had a rough day as far as team scores went but the bright spot of the day was Natalee Faur scoring her lowest 9 hole round of her career and being the team medalist!  Awesome job, Nat!  (cheering) NAT... NAT...NAT...  The Queens will be playing in the Conference meet on Monday where they hope to put at least four solid scores together and make a push to finish as high as possible in the MAC.  Go get 'em Queens!


  • The River Queen Track and Field team traveled to Brady Street stadium last night for the MAC Championships. The Queens had a great night Placing 6th in a very tough conference meet. The following girls placed in JV for the Queens. Liv Lonergan 6th place Discus and new PR. Haylee House 8th place Discus. Haylee House 6th place Shot Put and new PR. Sprint Medley team of Fransen, Luett, Wauford, Glover 6th place. Harper Determan 5th place Open 100. Distance Medley team of Fransen, Hensel, Schrader, Endreshak 6th place. Emily Andersen 6th place Open 400. 4x200 team of Wauford, Russell, Samuels, Glover 3rd place. Mady MacAvoy 4th place 100 Hurdles. Alaina Carpenter 3rd place Open 200. Mady MacAvoy 3rd place 400 low hurdles and New PR. 4x100 team of Wauford, Hensel, Luett, Bedford 6th place. The Following placed in Varsity last night for the Queens. Aubrey Fergurson 7th place Discus. Aubrey Fergurson 2nd place Shot put. Zoey Seitz 7th place Shot put. Joselyn Petersen MAC Champion in the Long Jump and New PR and number 5 all time at CHS. Elle Lonergan 3rd place High Jump. Lauren Whitney 8th place High Jump. Sprint Medley team of Jensen, Russell, Whitney, Skiff 7th place. 4x800 team of Sattler, Steiner, Rivers, Haskell 2nd place and 5th all time at CHS. Shuttle Hurdle team of MacAvoy, Carpenter, Bedford, Williams 5th place and 2nd all time at CHS. Distance Medley team of Hill, Hunter, Steiner, Sattler 4th place. 4x200 team of Hill, Hunter, Determan, Whitney 5th place. Carryn Sattler 4th place open 800. Sescie Haan 5th place 400 low hurdles. Alli Haskell 5th place 1500 and a New PR. 4x100 team of Jensen, Carpenter, Determan, Orr 6th place. 4x400 team of Sattler, Steiner, Samuels, Haan 5th place. There were several other great times and distance from the Queens last night. The Coaching staff is proud of all of you and next up is the District track meet Thursday at Dav. Assumption. Please make sure you tell all the River Queens congratulations on a great night.


  • Last night the River King Track and Field team competed in the Mississippi Athletic Conference meet. The varsity Kings competed against some of the fastest teams in the state and finished eighth while having a dozen PRs. The sophomore squad crowned two MAC Champs in Kayden Brannum and Cooper Belitz on their way to  finishing fifth.  Placing high for the varsity squad were: 4th Place: 4x400 relay of Ceion Currin, Jayden Krogmann, Cole Shannon, and Joey Anderson.  Jay Dodd, long jump.  5th Place: 4x200 relay of Currin, Maddux Cooley, Ronnie Abbott-Lutton, and  Jayden Krogmann.  6th Place: Sprint medley of Cooley, Abbott-Lutton, Shannon, and Krogmann. Marshall Johnson, high jump. Jordan Gruhn, high jump. Logan Lorenzen, shot put.High placers for the sophomore team were: 1st Place: Kayden Brannum, long jump. Cooper Belitz, shot put. 2nd Place: Ethan Carpenter, 400 low hurdles. Ceion Currin, 100m. 4th Place: 4x800 relay of Connor Roberts, Riley Engelkins, Reece Kramer, and Cael Schwarz. The River Kings will try and qualify events for the State Meet next week in Davenport
