  • River Kings Tennis traveled to Iowa City to play in their assigned District Tournament in hopes of getting through to the Individual State Tournament. Other participating schools included Ankeny, Dubuque Hempstead, Iowa City High, Iowa City Liberty, and Waukee. The Feddersen Bros made it to semifinals in the doubles bracket, but came up a bit short. In the end they placed 3rd out of 12 entries! Go Kings!

  • The Queens golf team hosted Davenport Central and North yesterday at home. The Queens played well with four girls shooting in the 50s finishing in 2nd place behind Davenport North. A'Reyae Jetter took team medalist honors with a 55 and finished 3rd place overall. The Queens are on the road today at Bunker Hills in Dubuque playing in their third meet this week! Go Queens!

  • The River King JV boys soccer team went to Maquoketa Tuesday night to take on the Cardinals. After a hard fought first half, the game was scoreless. The Kings started off the second half controlling the ball and had many unsuccessful shot attempts, but midway through the second half, Malachi Esser found the back of the net after an error from the Maquoketa goalie. Baltazar Cedillo added a second goal late in the game to seal the 2-0 victory for the river kings. We had great performances all around. It really was a team win. Malachi Esser also earned himself the team's Man of the Match. The JV team's season has come to a close, and they were able to end it on a high note!
