  • The meal plan allows you ONE breakfast. So if you eat at the 1st breakfast, you are not allowed to eat the 2nd chance breakfast (unless you are planning to pay for a second breakfast).


  • FBLA meeting on Thursday September 11th.  Bring a friend, check out the FBLA google classroom posts, and be prepared to begin the process of moving forward for competitions, conferences, leadership, and service activities.  See ya in Room #217, Second Flex Thursday.


  • A few items were found by the grounds crew after the football game Friday.  If you lost something that night, stop by the library and see if what you lost is what was found.


  • Mr. Jensen will be hosting the first FFA meeting on Tuesday the 9th during Flex 1.


  • Game club will meet Wednesday the 10th from 3:45 to 5 pm in room A124


  • Attention all boys soccer players: Open gym will start on Wednesday, Sept 10th at Clinton Middle School from 5:15pm - 7:00pm. Enter through the northwest doors closest to the gym. Please contact Coach Kruse if you have any questions.


  • Pride Club meetings will be during Flex 2 on Tuesdays.


  • The Homecoming Dance is on Oct 4th. Sign up (via a google form) will be starting on Friday Sept. 12th @ 1:45.  All CHS students who wish to go must sign-up themselves. Make sure you are talking to all your friends about getting signed up.  If you are bringing a Date who doesn’t go to CHS you ALSO need to fill out and return an “Out of school date form” which is already available in the library.


  • The Kings were at home yesterday for the River King Invitational at Valley Oaks Golf Course. The Kings tied for 6th out of 8 teams. Scoring for the Kings were Scott Pasakarnis (88), Cohen Thorpe (91), Thomas Hays (93), and Maverick Hensel (94). Also playing for the Kings were Ray Brown and Carter Thorpe. The Kings have a couple JV meets this week and the Varsity Kings play next Wednesday at the Bulldog Invitational at Palmer Hills Golf Course.

  • Queens took down the Bettendorf  Bulldogs on the tennis courts last night!  Grinnall, Cewe, Bengtson, Srp brought in wins in singles, then marched on to sweep all the doubles!!!   With Rowden and Cewe at #1, Grinnall and Srp at #2 and Bengtson and Manikowski at #3 Doubles.  Mac Conference is Wednesday and Thursday so wish them all good luck.  Congrats on an undefeated season so far this year!!!
