  • Queens started out on the most beautiful day for tennis.  They just got better and better as the day went on.  Great match play by our number one doubles team. Clinton #1 doubles were victorious as the team of Rowden and Cewe triumphed over Jepson(who placed third at state last year in singles)/Samora of North Scott.  Josie Srp pulled out a 14-12 tiebreaker after being down 7 -9 at 5 singles.  Great mental fortitude by Josie Srp!  Maddie Rowden had a great comeback and won at 3 singles.   Tenley Cewe played great singles and doubles all day!  Love those freshmen! Srp and Grinnall are in the finals, too, boot at #2 doubles!  Queens are in first place going into finals matches tomorrow! Wish them luck!!! I am so blessed to have great kids on the tennis team, and to also have the support of Coach Cewe and Espe.  Coach Raschd loves seeing that 42 years of success every year.  Go Queens!
