The varsity team picked up two wins on Saturday at the Cal-Wheat tournament. They stumbled against Northeast in the first match of the day, but rebounded to defeat Camanche. Joselyn Petersen and Maggie House led the Queens attacking front with 22 and 16 kills apiece. Haley Thomas once again led the defense with 20 total digs and a 2.41 serve receive ratings, the highest of the year at this point. Alaina Carpenter dished out 37 assists to her hitters. Harlow Miller led the front row defense with 4 total blocks. The Queens will return to Davenport West Tonight for a Sophomore, JV, and Varsity MAC showdown. First serve slated for 5:00pm.

The River Queen freshman team traveled down to Assumption last night. Although short handed with some injuries, both the Red and Black teams finished 1-1 on the night.
