We are excited to announce our partnership with Fullmind Tutoring! This is for any students at Clinton High School. Our first online tutoring session will start on Monday. Tutoring will be available on Monday and Wednesday evenings, as well as on Saturday mornings. They can help students with most core and elective classes! To access the sessions, students need to log in through Clever.
All 9th and 10th grade football players, please report to Coach Feaster's room #124 at the beginning of Flex 1 or Flex 2 today! Your meeting will be brief. Please make sure to stop by.
Visit the Clinton Public Library on Fridays anytime from 2 - 4:30 p.m. for snacks and crafts! Each week, the library will offer a different primary activity but feel free to bring your homework, a good book to read, or just come to hang out with friends! After-School Tutoring is being offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library! There is no cost. We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend! If you need to get grades up to keep from falling too far behind this is the place to be.
Last year's yearbooks are in! Mrs. Lemon-Levy will be distributing yearbooks on B days over the next two weeks. You can also pick up your yearbook during flex time by the front office. CHS graduates who need to pick up their yearbooks can do so by visiting the Clinton High School front office starting Monday, October 6th.
If you are interested in making a short film for the Iowa High School Speech Competition this year, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, October 6th in room S154 from 4-4:30 pm. For questions or details, email Coach Struble or Coach Lemon-Levy.
We’re excited to announce the start of the CHS Book Club! All students, grades 9–12, are welcome to join. Meeting Times: During Flex (both Flex 1 and Flex 2, so everyone who wants to can participate). How to Join: Add yourself to the CHS Book Club Google Classroom using the code nwdhhk7w. Vote for Our First Book: In Google Classroom, you’ll find book trailers to help us choose our first read. Please view them and cast your vote by Monday, October 6. First Official Meetings: Wednesday, October 9 during Flex.
The HOCO pancake breakfast will be held in the practice gym Friday from 6am til 8am! If you or your family is looking to purchase tickets, find any student council member! $10 a piece!
LAST DAY to buy your HOCO dance ticket. Stop in the library to buy it. You will need a school or state issued photo ID to get into the Dance.

Elizabeth Grinnall took her first match at Tennis State in 3 sets. In her next match, she dropped it to the second seed. In consolation, she took another victory 6-4 6- 0 over Hansen from AL. She played amazingly well all day! BEST WISHES today at state as you continue to play, Elizabeth.
The River King golf team competed in their last regular season meet today in Davenport and finished in 3rd place in the Quadrangular only 9 strokes out of 1st place. Scoring for the Kings were Scott Pasakarnis, Carter Thorpe, Cohen Thorpe, and Brenner Vance. who was playing in his first varsity meet this season. The Kings will play on Monday at the District meet in Davenport at Emeis Golf Course. Go Kings!
