  • Attention all River Queens- The time has finally come. It's Wrestling Season!! River Queen Wrestling will be starting next Monday, November 3rd. If you have interest in or questions about becoming a River Queen Wrestler feel free to reach out to either Coach Dylan Schneeberger or Coach Eric Spittler with your questions. We are looking forward to potentially having the largest Women's Wrestling team in Clinton High School history. We would love to have you be a part of making history with us!


  • This week is Red Ribbon Week, and everyone can come down to sign the banner to pledge to be drug-free. It will be available to sign all week and it is located in the hallway near Mrs. DeVries' room-S145. Signing the banner is a great way to show your support for Red Ribbon Week and our fight against drug use.


  • No After School tutoring today due to conferences. See you Thursday.


  • On Friday for Halloween if you so wish you can wear a costume.  The restrictions are No full face masks, and No weaponry. 


  • 2025/2026 River King Wrestlers:  Whether a returning River King veteran ready to build on your legacy, or someone new looking to challenge yourself, build incredible strength, and join a dedicated team, this season is for you!  To make sure you get all announcements for pre-season meetings, conditioning, and tryout dates, you need to be in our official Google Classroom. This will be our main hub for all team communication. We are looking forward to a fantastic season. Email Coach LeRoux or sign up with Coach Jordan.  See you Wednesday Oct 29th at 5pm for Pre-season training in the Wrestling Room.


  • Juniors- Clinton Community College Academy Preview Day is Thursday November 6th.  This is a great opportunity to earn college credit, while also the possibility of earning a credential at the completion of a program.  Please check your e-mail for a registration link to the event.  If you have any questions, please ask CCTC, Marla Schultz marla.schultz@csdkq.org


  • Bowling team signups are today 10/28 @ 4:00pm at Plaza Bowl for both girls and boys.


  • Pickleball Club will have a meeting on Thursday, October 30th during FLEX 1 in room A106. If you are interested in joining but are unable to attend, talk to Mr. E. Haan in room A106.


  • Conferences are Today, Oct 28 and Wed, Oct 29 from 4-7:30pm. 


  • Also during conference time there will be FAFSA help for the seniors & their guardians who would like it. This will be on the 2nd floor of the academic building. Appointments are not required but an email was sent out Friday through which an appointment could be made if you like. See/email Marla Schultz with questions.


  • Are you a Jeopardy buff?  Do you love trivia?  Maybe you are looking for something to add to your resume.  We have the club for you. Quiz Bowl!  We do one competition at CCC at the end of November.  If you are interested please come to at least one of the next practices during Flex 1.  The dates are today 10/28 and Friday 10/31.  All practices will be held in the counseling office.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. Klinkhammer. 


  • Ready to show your River King Spirit? Winter Cheer tryouts are coming up. Get your application from Ms. Schroeder and bring it to clinic day Today Oct 28 4-6pm in the practice gym. Tryouts will be on Wednesday starting at 4pm. We can't wait to see you!
