  • Reminder for those students who signed up for the Building Futures Career Expo, the event is tomorrow. Please report near Ms. Melvin's desk at 9:20. The bus will leave CHS at 9:30.  Long pants and closed toe shoes are strongly recommended. Lunch will be provided at the event. We return to CHS by 2:00. Please see Jim Bengtson in the library if you have any questions.


  • Game Club will meet Monday and Wednesday this week from 3:45-5:15 pm


  • Girls soccer players - OPEN GYM will be held this Saturday, November 22nd at 12 noon. Please meet in Yourd Gym lobby.


  • It's time!  The 2025/26 Wrestling Season kicks off tonight!  There's still time to join the River King Wrestling Family.  4-6 tonight, reach out to Coach Jordan or Coach LeRoux. Just a reminder everyone wanting to wrestle this year must be in Bound or they will not be allowed to practice.


  • Book Club will meet Today, Nov 17th during both flexes.  Aim to have read up to chapter 7, but still come even if you haven’t gotten that far.


  • Juniors and Seniors have the opportunity to visit the Plumbing and Pipefitters Union on Tuesday, December 2nd. Before the union visit, we will stop at the Blong Technology Center to explore credit and non-credit programs in Engineering Technology, Additive Manufacturing, CNC Machining, Truck Driving, Welding.  This is a great chance to see hands-on career paths and training opportunities in the skilled trades.   • On Saturday, November 22nd, iJAG will host African Vibes in the Clinton High School Theatre from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event will feature Samuel Nalangira, a master Ugandan folk artist and multi-instrumentalist.  The program will include African drumming, a dance workshop, and a folk music concert. This event is free and open to the public.  African Vibes is proudly sponsored by Afriwell Hub, iJAG, the Vince Jetter Community Center, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Iowa Economic Development.  Come out and support this exciting cultural event!


  • Please check the “Lost and Found” if you have lost something. The gray tote outside the library is overflowing with clothing & coats. We also have quite a few water containers out there.
