DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Thursday Jan 8 2026

I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

  • Students taking CCC classes, either online or through the academy during the second semester, are required to attend a meeting during FLEX 1 today (Thursday, 1/8) in the Theatre if they didn’t attend the meeting yesterday. Attendance is important and will be taken. If you have any questions, please email Marla at marla.schultz@csdkq.org.

  • Attention wrestlers: it's time again for Grade check.  Please see Ms. Baldwin in the library to get a form.  They are due FRIDAY at the start of Practice.

  • On January 19th, iJAG will be hosting a Canned Food Drive as part of our Day of Service Learning. We are asking students and staff to bring in non-perishable food items to support those in need. All donations will go directly to the Vince Jetter Community Center, helping families in our local community. The drive will take place between January 6th-16th. For more information please email Mrs.Lemon-Levy or Mrs.Harris.  Every donation counts!

  • It is officially Sweater Weather at Clinton High School. Stop by the library and check out the staff-designed sweaters displayed near the library doors.  Once you have picked your favorite, head to the circulation desk to grab a voting slip and cast your vote for the best sweater design. Students and staff are both encouraged to participate.  Voting is open now through Friday, January 17. Take a few minutes, enjoy the designs, and help us decide which sweater truly brings the cozy vibes this winter.

  • Finals will be here in one week, use your time wisely between now and finals to get your work finished, turned in, and make sure you understand the material.  Go to flexes to get help, use the online Fullmind Tutor (M, W, S), and/or come to our After School Tutoring (T, TH).

  • FBLA.... Practice for district competition will happen 1st and 2nd flex Today.  Our conference is this Saturday!

  • After-School Tutoring is being offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library!  There is no cost.  We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend! We are getting to the end of the semester.  Let us help you get those grades up.
