Remember to get items borrowed from the Library returned. Loaner computers, LOANER CHARGERS, headphones, overdue/”lost” library books. The library needs them back please.
Tryouts for high school colorguard are coming up! For anyone interested in being a part of the color guard in the fall, you need to attend these tryouts. The first date is February 18th at the high school from 4-6 pm. Meet at the band room doors. If you have any questions, email Ms. April
Attention = Girls Soccer: The next OPEN GYM will be this Saturday, January 31st at 12:30pm in Yourd Gym.
The rescheduled FCA meeting is this Friday, January 30th during Flextime. If you plan on coming please sign up on the sheet outside Mr. McEwen's room by the end of the day TODAY to make sure we have enough food for everyone! See you then!
After-School Tutoring is being offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library! There is no cost. We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend!

The River Queen basketball team picked up two good wins Tuesday night against the North Scott Lancers in the Pit. The JV Queens came out hot scoring the first 22 points of the game and ending with a score of 59-25. Scoring for the Queens were Kassidy Eggers with 15 points, Audry Gruhn with 9, Lilly Schneeberger 9, Tenley Cewe with 7 and Zoey Scott with 5. Rebounding leaders were Gruhn with 8 and Phoebe Levine with 7. Assist leaders were Cewe with 7 and Levine with 4 while steals leaders were Schneeberger with 4 and Levine with 3. The JV Queens moved to 10-3 on the season. The Varsity Queens avenged a heartbreaking loss earlier in the season by beating #12 ranked North Scott 54-35. Jhaliana Guy scored 23 with Alli Haskell 16, Carryn Sattler 7, Lilly Hankins 6. Rebounding leaders were Aubrey Fergurson with 10 and Sattler with 9. The Queens moved to 10-7 on the year and have now recorded the most wins since the 2009-2010 season. The Queens are on the road on Friday against Pleasant Valley in a pivotal game for conference standings.
