Jostens will be delivering cap and gown sometime next month. The date is TBD but if you haven't ordered yet the time to get that order in is NOW.
Today is the day fines for parking in the designated staff lot (next to the academic wing) and staff area of the south lot (behind the new theater) are increasing to $25. So students, make sure you are parking in the Student lot/student area and entering through the Hall of Fame doors (D26).
The game club will meet today from 3:45 to 5:15 pm.
The River Royalty Reads challenge is still going on! Log in to Clever, find Beanstack there, Read, track your minutes. Log your time and claim your fame— Shoutouts and prizes are part of the game!
Tryouts for high school colorguard are coming up! For anyone interested in being a part of the color guard in the fall, you need to attend these tryouts. The first date is February 18th at the high school from 4-6 pm. Meet at the band room doors. If you have any questions, email Ms. April
Congratulations River King wrestlers for finishing 5th in one of the toughest districts in the state Saturday at Bettendorf! Danny Peters earned his second district title winning a thriller 8-7 in the finals! Brody Harrington had an impressive day and placed 2nd, while Damarius Robinson showed great heart and took 3rd. All three will compete at the state meet starting Wednesday. Just missing out on a trip to state were Isaiah Lines, Nolan Eggers, and Hayden Chandler, who all placed 4th. Mark Stoddard, Jakob Litherland, Camdynn Bray, Alfonzo Herrera, Ty Sander Welzien, Cooper Cooley, and Sloan Weaver battled all day and never quit. The coaching staff is proud of you all! Great job wrestlers!
