“Out of School Date” forms for Prom are already available in the library. If you plan to bring a date who doesn't go to CHS/EAC stop in and get an “Out of School Date” form, get it filled out, & returned as soon as you can before April 24th. Make sure you also sign up on the google form once it is sent out (April 6th).
The Royalty Rack is ready for prom goers. If you would like to take a look at prom dresses or prom attire for the event, please email Mrs. Leafgreen at christina.leafgreen@csdkq.org to set up a time to look.
Girls soccer -- today we will meet in the Clinton High library right after school at 3:45pm to begin our fundraiser for the season! Bring your cell phones! We will still have practice outdoors at the complex from 5:00-6:00pm!
Book Club will meet today, March 25th during both flexes to discuss the first 11 chapters of the book. Still come even if you haven’t gotten that far.
FBLA...... We have our state practice tonight. Please plan on attending at 6.... Mr. Pataska's room.
Next Monday Synergy is hosting a coin drive for My Gear Outreach, a program that supports foster kids when going into care. Donation cups will be in every classroom and the room with the most change collected in 2 weeks will be rewarded with a sweet treat.
The Quad City Electrical Training Center is excited to participate in the Heavy Metal Summer Experience program by hosting a one-week camp this summer, from June 22-26th! HMSE was designed to introduce students and recent graduates ages 16-19 to high-paying, zero debt career opportunities in the building trades through hands-on experiences with industry pros. It’s a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills and spark a lifelong passion for a successful future. The best part? It’s FREE for all participants. Interested students are encouraged to see Mr. Bengtson, in the library office, for further details.
Please check the due date on your library books. If they are overdue (there are over 260 that are) and you are still reading them please stop in and get them renewed, otherwise please return them so someone else can read them.
An admissions rep from Luther College will be visiting the counseling office on March 26 at 1:00pm. Please let Mrs. Klinkhammer know if you would be interested in meeting with them.

The River Queens delivered a strong all-around performance tonight at the Clinton Early Bird, competing with toughness and depth across varsity and JV levels!
Event Champions: for Varsity: Carryn Sattler – 1st in the 800m (2:22.88). Alli Haskell – 1st in the 1500m (5:19.70). Aubrey Ferguson – 1st in Shot Put (38-7), 3rd in Discus. Elle Lonergan – 1st in High Jump (5-2).
Runner-Up Finishes: Jayda Skiff – 2nd in the 400m. Maloree Byrns- 2nd in Discus 108-06. 4x400 Relay – 2nd place (4:24.60) Molly Steiner, Carryn Sattler, Audry Gruhn, Alli Haskell. Weightperson Relay – 2nd place (1:01.21) Bryn Wheat, Maloree Byrns, Maggie House, Aubrey Fergurson.
Third Place Finishers thru Fifth place finishes: Camila Hunter - 100 5th place, 3rd in the 200. Natalia Connolly – 1500m 5th place. Cambyl Sattler – 3000m 3rd place. Alaina Carpenter- 100 hurdles 5th place. Madyson MacAvoy - 400 low hurdles 5th place. Dorianna Hill – High Jump 3rd place. Joselyn Petersen – Long Jump 3rd place. Zoey Seitz – Shot Put 5th place. Distance Medley 3rd place Dorianna Hill, Alaina Carpenter, Lilly Hankins, Cambyl Sattler.

Team Results: Varsity Team – 3rd Place Overall (58 pts) JV Team – 2nd Place Overall (55.5 pts). The River Queens showed great depth, competitiveness, and grit across every event group. A great early-season meet with a lot to build on! Keep working. Keep improving. Go River Queens!
