  • Attention all speech participants: Please join Coach Lemon-Levy and Coach Struble TODAY from 4-4:30 pm to celebrate our speech season and look ahead to what next season will bring. We will have treats so please come! Seniors are encouraged to attend. We'll meet in Mrs. Lemon-Levy's classroom.

  • Juniors and Seniors! Check your email for a form for Prom Court voting. This form needs to be filled out by the end of the day Friday. Prom Court will be announced on Monday next week. Please ask Ms. Redpath if you have any questions or concerns!

  • All music students who participated in Solo Ensemble last Saturday please report to the theater at the start of Flex 1

  • Please join us at this week's River King Basketball open gyms in CHS Yourd gym on Tuesday April 21st & Thursday April 23rd 6:00pm-7:30pm!  All current 8th graders are welcome to join us as well! M

  • If you want to go to Prom, skipping your scheduled Flexes hurts you in two requirements. Attendance: flex is class time and counts against attendance if you're not there.  Grades: you are scheduled to be in flex to help get your grade up. So make sure you are going to your flexes to get the assistance you need to get those grades up so you can go to Prom.  There is also a grade for Mentoring so best not to skip that either.

  • The sign-up for Prom has started.  Get signed up before 1:45 pm on April 24. Don’t wait till the last minute. Talk with your friends to make sure they have signed up.  Check in the library after you sign up to make sure it went through & to check on your requirements (grades, attendance, fees, & ISASP).  For those of you with Out of school Dates make sure you grab an “Out of School Date” form and get it filled out and returned too.

  • Book Club will meet April 21st during both flexes to discuss chapters 23-33 of the book. Still come even if you haven’t gotten that far.

  • The Royalty Rack is ready for prom goers. If you would like to take a look at prom dresses or prom attire for the event, please email Mrs. Leafgreen at christina.leafgreen@csdkq.org to set up a time to look.

  • Over the weekend, Clinton High School participated in the Iowa High School Music Association's Solo and Small Ensemble Festival. 66 students participated in 61 events throughout the day.
