A printed ok list for Prom is up by the library’s book return. If you are not on it, come in and see what you need to do to get on it.
Make sure you remember to bring your computers and chargers to school EVERYDAY. The library has a limited number of computers and chargers to loan out. If you have a loaner charger it needs to be returned ASAP.
Please check the “Lost and Found”, some is still spread out on a table on the main floor of the academic wing and some is up in the gray tote by the library. Please look over the items and reclaim anything that is yours.
Have a talent you'd like to share? Join us for the River Royalty Productions 2nd Annual Variety Show! Auditions will be held April 29th from 4-6 pm in the Durgin Performing Arts Center. Performance will be May 15th 6-8 PM. Students and staff are welcome to join in the fun and perform! For questions or details, please reach out to Mrs. Lemon-Levy.
FCA will meet this Friday, April 24th during Flextime. All athletes must sign up on Coach McEwen's door by the end of the day Today if you plan to attend.
Pride Club is hosting their annual fundraiser this week! Come check us out all week during both Flexes. Bring your cash! $2.50 for a flag, $1.00 for a pronoun pin, or 50 cents for a sticker. You also get a free bookmark with any purchase!
Attention students! You’re invited to The Royal Treatment — a self-care and confidence-building event you don’t want to miss! Join us on April 25th from 12:00 to 3:00 PM in the Clinton High School Wellness Gym. This event is all about helping you own your look and own your power
Here’s what you can expect: Self-care kits. Style station. Confidence boost activities. Vision boards and photos. Come as you are… and leave more confident! This event is brought to you by iJAG in partnership with Clinton High School and Clinton County for Protective Children (CPPC)
Juniors and Seniors! Check your email for a form for Prom Court voting. This form needs to be filled out by the end of the day Friday. Prom Court will be announced on Monday next week. Please ask Ms. Redpath if you have any questions or concerns!
If you want to go to Prom, make sure you are going to ALL your classes. Skipping any classes or Flex hurts you in two ways, Attendance & Grades. If you have a Fee to pay or items to return, Please don't wait until the day you want to buy your ticket to pay or return it.
Last week to sign-up for Prom. The form was sent on April 6th by Ms. North. Get signed up before 1:45 pm on April 24. Don’t wait till the last minute. Talk with your friends to make sure they have signed up. Check in the library after you sign up to make sure it went through & to check on your requirements (grades, attendance, fees, & ISASP). For those of you with Out of school Dates make sure you grab an “Out of School Date” form and get it filled out and returned too.
The Royalty Rack is ready for prom goers. If you would like to take a look at prom dresses or prom attire for the event, please email Mrs. Leafgreen at christina.leafgreen@csdkq.org to set up a time to look.
After-School Tutoring is being offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 - 4:45 in the Library! There is no cost. We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend! Great way to get those grades up for Prom or other surprise activities.
The Queens golf team participated in the Falcon Invitational at Emeis golf course on Wednesday. Olivia Veenstra finished 17th overall shooting a 103. Bryleigh Shepherd, A’Reyae Jetter, and Aubrie Bedford also scored for the Queens in the 18 hole meet. The Queens play again tomorrow at the Lancer Invitational at Glynns Creek golf course.
