  • Great job by our JV Queens yesterday in their home meet picking up the W against North Scott!  As they continue to learn the game, their scores keep getting lower and lower. Meet medalist tonight was Caelyn Dunham with a 55 followed by Tamara Soto with a 56. Ruby Boysen shot a 58 and Arra Greene wrapped up the team scoring with a 63.  Also playing in the meet for the Queens were Brenna Weaver, Adalyn Vonderohe, Isabella Williams, Taylor Gage, and Lila Keister.  Go Queens!

  • River Kings Tennis ended the regular season in spectacular fashion on Thursday as they swept Davenport North 9-0 at home!  It was an outstanding team effort that made Senior Night extra special.  As we honored our seniors and their families for all their dedication and support to the program over the past four years, we reflected on all the fun and success we had.  It has been our privilege to have been your coaches and to watch you develop into the tennis players you have become!  You have made your family, school, and community proud!  Thank you: Asher Dornbush, Levi Fransen, Hayden Schantag, Logan Spooner, and Dylan Todtz!

  • The River King soccer teams took on Davenport North last night. The JV boys kicked things off with a 2-1 victory for their first win of the season! Zane Weaver started the scoring when he took advantage of a goalkeeper mistake and put the free kick in the net. North scored early in the second half, but the Kings responded immediately, with Eric Harris scoring on a break away for the decisive goal. Keepers Isaiah Stokley-Koenes and Saul Xique Marcos both were exceptional in goal to hold onto the lead and secure the victory. Eric Harris was selected as the JV Man of the Match for his performance.  The varsity boys took a 4-0 defeat. After North scored two very quick goals, the Kings regrouped and put in a strong team effort. Despite the deficit, the kings brought energy to the second half and built a few strong attacks on goal. Logan Dondiego did well to control the midfield and triggered several counter attacks to give the team their best opportunities to score. He was the teams Man of the Match.  The Kings are back in action on Monday, facing Davenport West for Senior Night. Come out and support our seniors!
