  • Seniors: Make sure you are checking your email DAILY so you don’t miss out on important information about the end of your school year.

  • All library books are due back on May 15th.  Make sure you get your books finished by then.  If you are already done please get them returned now.

  • Football will be meeting next Monday May 11th at 7:30am in the weight room to go over the Summer Football schedule. If you can not come in the morning, come to first flex down the weight room May 11th.

  • Book Club will meet on Thursday, May 7th during both flexes.

  • Baseball tryouts are 4:30 to 6pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. Questions contact Coach Krause.

  • Attention ALL BOYS AND GIRLS VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS! We will have a volleyball open gym Thursday May 7th in Wellness Gym from 7:30-9:00pm!

  • Attention NHS members!  Officer elections are in progress.  If you would like to run for President, Vice President, Treasurer, or Secretary, you must complete the paperwork by May 8, elections are on May 11.  You must also inform Mr. Camp or Ms. Bradway of your intent.

  • Students who are interested in having an Education Workplace Experience next year, if you received an email from Mr. Bengtson and have not stopped by to see him, please do so as soon as possible. This must be done in order to move forward for the experience. Thank you.

  • After-School Tutoring will now be offered Monday - Thursday from 3:45-4:45 in the Library!  There is no cost.  We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend!

  • Last night, the River Queens soccer team traveled to Davenport to take on the much-improved Falcons of West High school. Despite the tough battle put on display by the Queens they were defeated in this match 2-0, bringing their season record to 4-7. The Queens put 16 shots on goal but were denied all night long.  The JV Queens came up with a big game winning their match 4-3! Leading the JV Queens were Lilly Schneeberger with 3 goals and Karla Aguiano Facio with one goal. Facio recorded one assist, Violet Hensel was in goal for 3 saves, and Teyla Threatt contributed 2 saves in the winning effort.  The Varsity Queens are back in action tonight as they travel to Felderman Park in Bellevue to take on Marquette Catholic in a boy-girl doubleheader. Kickoff for the girls today is 3:45pm.
