  • If you have a loaner charger please get them back to the library ASAP and if you have a loaner computer not checked out today also please return it ASAP.


  • Seniors: Make sure you are checking your email DAILY so you don’t miss out on important information about the end of your school year & Graduation.


  • All library books are due back on May 15th.  Make sure you get your books finished by then.  If you are already done please get them returned now.



  • Football will be meeting Monday May 11th at 7:30am in the weight room to go over the Summer Football schedule. If you can not come in the morning, come to first flex down the weight room May 11th.


  • Attention NHS members!  Officer elections are in progress.  If you would like to run for President, Vice President, Treasurer, or Secretary, you must complete the paperwork by May 8 (Today), elections are on May 11.  You must also inform Mr. Camp or Ms. Bradway of your intent.



  • Last night the River King Track and Field team competed in the Mississippi Athletic Conference Meet. The varsity Kings placed 4th out of 10 teams and were led by: 1st Place: Jay Dodd, long jump. 2nd Place: Maddux Cooley, 100m and 200m dash. 3rd Place: Shuttle hurdle relay of Carter Dunham, Ethan Carpenter, Max Smith, and Jay Dodd. 4x200m relay of Kayden Brannum, Cole Shannon, Hunter Ball, and Maddux Cooley. 4x400 relay of Nate Lundin, Joey Anderson, Cole Shannon, and Rylan Henson. 4th Place: Marshall Johnson, high jump. The freshmen and sophomore Kings placed 3rd out of 10 teams and were led by: 1st Place: Basiten Balous, shot put and discus. Julian Davis, long jump. 4x400m relay of Roger Schumacher, Micah Tague, Jacoby Sampson, and Brecken Lemke. 2nd Place: 4x200m relay of Henry Bell, Julian Davis, Nolan Marsh, and Brecken Lemke. Brecken Lemke, 400mLH. 3rd Place: Distance Medley relay of Nolan Marsh, Jack George, Miles Schneeberger, and Jacoby Sampson. 4th Place: Maddux Mojeiko, 1600m. Michael Chase, shot put. 


  • Last night, the River Queens hosted a talented Geneseo soccer team. Playing tough defense, the Queens were down only 1-0 at halftime. The Maple Leafs caught fire in the second half and pulled away to a 7-0 win. Alli Haskell provided Clinton's only shots on goal. Brooklyn Cooley recorded 14 saves.  The JV Queens lost a close game 2-1. Scoring Clinton's lone goal was Lilly Schneeberger. Sharing time in goal were keepers Zoey Steen with 8 saves, Violet Hensel with 2, and Teyla Threatt with 2.  The River Queens are back in action on Tuesday at home as they host the Bettendorf Bulldogs. The night kicks off with Varsity starting at 5:00pm.  Thanks to our supporters who were in the stands last night to show their support!


  • The River Queens played at Palmer Hills yesterday in a triangular with Bettendorf and Assumption. The Queens played well finishing in 2nd behind Bettendorf and narrowly edging out Assumption by two strokes. Team medalist went to senior Olivia Parker. Also scoring were Whitney Naughton, Olivia Veenstra, and Bryleigh Shepherd. Also playing yesterday were Audrie Bedford and freshman Ruby Boysen, playing in her first varsity meet.  The Queens will be busy next week starting with the MAC conference meet on Monday and having a couple more meets that week to finish the regular season heading into the district meet which will be held May 20th at Glynn’s Creek.
