  • Congratulations to the officers for the National Honor Society for the 2026-27 school year:  President- Laynie Steines. Vice President- Lauren Whitney. Secretary- Kirsten Bengston. Treasurer- Josie Srp.

  • If you still have library books out please get them returned ASAP.  All checked out books have been marked lost. Get them returned so we can remove the fees.

  • If you have a loaner charger please get them back to the library ASAP and if you have a loaner computer not checked out today also please return it ASAP.

  • Please check the “Lost and Found”, it is spread out on a table on the main floor of the academic wing and small or electronic items are in the library. Please look over the items and reclaim anything that is yours.

  • The Varsity River Queens lost two very tough games in a conference double header last night against Bettendorf.  Alaina Carpenter led the Queens on offense gathering the teams only RBI's of the night on a double in game 2.  Throughout the night the Queens continued to put forth their best efforts, but unfortunately it wasn't enough against a very good Bettendorf team.  Tonight the River Queens will travel to Northeast for a JV/Varsity double header.

  • Last night the River Queens traveled to Independence to take on the Mustangs in class 2A post-season regional tournament action. The Queens battled hard and were in a tight match, only trailing at half-time 1-0. Independence added two more scores in the second half and defeated Clinton 3-0. The Queens managed only two shots on goal by Alli Haskell.  The Queens end their soccer season with a record of 5-13. Thanks goes out to the Senior girls who helped this program rebuild and are leaving it strong for the future: Alyssa Determan, Aubrey Fergurson, McKenna Morhardt, Olivia Schneeberger, Emma Wulf, and Taylor Almquist. Your hard work and dedication over your years as a Queen were appreciated!!  The girls soccer awards dessert banquet will be in the commons today at 4:00pm. Please return your cleaned uniforms! Thanks, Coach Feaster

  • Congratulations to Gabriel Rocha and Brady Kurtz who were both selected as MAC Soccer All-Conference Honorable Mention! Both were crucial to the team's success this year, and stood out in positions where it's more about the performances rather than statistics. It is excellent that their efforts were recognized by the other MAC coaches as being deserving of this honor! Congrats Gabriel and Brady!
