The ok list is posted on the window outside of the library. If you are not on the list, check in the library. Tickets are on sale through the end of today. You will need a school or state issued photo ID to get into the Dance.
Your school counseling office will be offering the PSAT on October 15th at the start of day at Clinton Administration Building. It costs $18. If that is a hardship please let your counselor know. Gear Up will be paying for the Sophomore class. If you are interested in taking the PSAT please email Mr. Avise-Rouse. Sign up ends October 6th. The PSAT is a great tool to practice for future college entrance exams, and you might qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
FBLA..... WE have our meeting today during flex time. Make sure you are present! We have to finalize plans for the upcoming Fall leadership conference. To commit to the conference you need to pay $20 by Monday of next week, which is the deadline for registration.
The River Queen volleyball program traveled to Pleasant Valley Tuesday night to take on the Spartans in a MAC conference matchup. Unfortunately, all three River Queen teams fell in straight sets. The JV Queens played a highly competitive match, battling throughout before falling 22-25, 22-25. The varsity squad battled at times but struggled to keep pace with the high-powered offense the Spartans threw at them. Alaina Carpenter led the Queen offense with 8 assists, while Maggie House put away 10 kills. Defensively, Tenley Cewe led the Queens with 9 digs and a 2.23 passer rating. The Queens also put together one of their best blocking performances of conference play, finishing with 8 assist blocks. Audry Gruhn led the defensive wall with 3 assist blocks. The Queens will return home next week for another big conference showdown as they take on conference leader and Class 4A No. 1 Assumption. Come out and support the River Queens as they take on one of the top teams in the state!

Congratulations to Tenley Cewe who took first place over her teammate Elizabeth Grinnall who finished as runner up to go to State Tennis- both girls qualified for State! Kirstin Bengtson and Sammy Manikowski finished third to be the alternates to go to State over teammates Taedyn Cewe and Grace Griswold. Good day to be a Queen!
