The final tryout will be held on October 31st from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM in the Yourd Gym. Please wear black athletic clothing to all tryout sessions with your hair pulled back. • The 26-27 Speech season is about to start! If you are interested in doing Group and/or Individual speech please email Lillian Asay, Alyson Pulido, and/or Mazzy Jesen so the link can be sent to you! We hope to see you signed up!

  • Attention River King golfers - our end-of-season awards potluck is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20th, at 5:00pm in the CHS commons. Please invite your family members and bring a hot or cold dish to pass, and your own tableware. See Coach Feaster if you have any questions.

  • The Clinton High Republicans are pleased to announce a unique civic engagement opportunity for our campus: U.S. Congresswoman, military veteran, and physician Mariannette Miller-Meeks will be visiting today at 4:00 PM. She will give a brief speech in the agriculture room followed by an extended, open Q&A session where students can directly ask questions about current events and national policy. All students and staff are highly encouraged to attend regardless of political beliefs. This is your choice to voice the issues that matter to you in a respectful, welcoming, and non-disruptive forum. We look forward to seeing you there!

  • The varsity River Kings football team traveled to Eldridge Friday to take on North Scott. The Kings struck first on a touchdown run from Ethan Carpenter. Angel Lines forced a fumble on defense and the Kings were right in the game at half with the score tied at 7. The game remained close throughout the 3rd quarter as each team's defense battled. North Scott led 14-7 after 3. The fourth quarter led to the Kings having to take a few more risks and the final score ended at 35-14 North Scott coming out ahead. Carpenter added another touchdown late for the Kings. Next week, we celebrate our seniors as we welcome Western Dubuque to town. Thanks for the support from our fans. Go Kings!
