December was full of holiday cheer!
The 7th Grade Black Team visited JA Finance Park as part of their Financial Literacy curriculum! (Red Team will go in the spring.) Students explored the many expenses adults have to budget for and practiced sticking to a budget while shopping. We’re grateful that CMS students get this valuable experience!

Favorite work-related memory response continued: "We laugh about the chaos that used to happen in our classroom, reminisce over some crazy memories and then they tell me about their jobs, their families, and the goals they’re chasing. What really touches my heart is when they say how much being in my class meant to them and how it helped shape who they are today. Seeing them succeed and knowing I was a small part of their journey is the most rewarding part of what I do."
