Tonight's performance of Beauty and the Beast at Clinton High has been cancelled. Tomorrow's show will go as planned and there will be TWO shows on Sunday, April 2. The first show will be at 2 pm and the second will be at 6:30 pm. Please spread the word!

Due to the expected weather, all practices at CHS have been cancelled for tonight and all athletic events will be postponed to a later date.

We are pleased to announce that senior Isaiah Holmes has been selected to perform with the ICCA All Star Squad tomorrow in Grimes, IA. The Iowa Cheer Coaches Association is excited to join together with the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association to put together a great weekend featuring senior basketball players and talented cheerleaders. . The All-Stars were sent a video from which to learn a choreographed routine that they will perform. At the end of the final performance, awards and scholarships will be awards to selected cheerleaders. Congratulations Isaiah!

All CHS practices for today, Tuesday, March 21st have been canceled.
Today's track meet at North Scott is postponed until a later date.

Congratulations to the CHS Speech Team at the North Scott State Contest where 9 of our 18 events received a Division I rating, including Rhys Bostic, Sophia Petersen, Marcus Steen, Juliana Clark, Jeremy Galloway, Norah Balk, Mason Luckritz, and Oscar Spurgeon. Special Congratulations to Sophia Petersen for being nominated as an All-State Performer in Acting!

The first practice for River King/Queen Rugby Club and a Q and A session with parents will be this Monday, February 27th at 6 pm in Yourd Gym.


Congratulations to the River King Bowling team and Coach Hartman as they defeated North Scott to take 3rd place at state! Congrats!
Individual state will either be on Thursday/Friday depending on weather. Good luck to Hunter and Maren!



Unfortunately the River King Bowlers lost to Ft. Dodge in the semifinals. They will now face North Scott for 3rd place. Good Luck Kings!!

Congratulations to the River King Bowlers as they have qualified as the #2 seed in bracket play. Go Kings!
UPDATE:
Clinton beat Denison-Schleswig in 5 to move on to the semi finals where they will face Ft. Dodge!


Activities for 2-21-23


1A and 2A individual state bowling tickets have been sold out. We will not be selling any tickets at the door for both 1A and 2A individual state bowling. Please make sure your communities are aware that tickets are officially sold out for these two events.
3A individual state bowling tickets are still available as of 2:30 pm 2/18/23.
