Elizabeth Kelly, a junior at Clinton High School has been selected to be a part of the Iowa High School Music Association All State Orchestra. She is the first CHS orchestra student in almost a decade to be selected. Elizabeth has been playing the violin since she was 6 and was a part of the Eugene-Springfield Youth Orchestra and Youth Symphony in Oregon. Liz has played in the Clinton High School Chamber Orchestra since her sophomore year. That year, she was a part of the IHSMA SIESTA Honor Orchestra. Last summer, she was a camp counselor at the Clinton String Camp run by Greg and Julie Marston. She helped teach 5th and 6th grade string students, which she really enjoyed and looks forward to doing it again next summer.
