Good Morning, CMS!
Today is Monday, May 4, 2026
Today’s Announcements:
CMS today is orange day as we raise awareness and give hope to those with ADHD. Did you know roughly 10% of children are diagnosed with ADHD. It is often characterized by attention and impulse that the person with ADHD has trouble controlling due to their brain activity. Today we tell those with ADHD that we see you, we care about you, and think you are awesome!
Tomorrow we will wear blue for childhood abuse awareness.
Attention all 8th graders! Baseball tryouts will be held today, Monday, May 4 through Wednesday, May 6, from 4:30–6:00 PM at Eagle Heights. If you are currently in track, please still plan on attending your meets today and tomorrow, and you are welcome to join tryouts on Wednesday.
The CMS track team had a great night Friday at Northeast. The 7th and 8th grade Queens placed 1st out of 12 teams, with numerous relay victories and individual championships. The Kings teams both placed 2nd out of 12 teams and had their best night of the season as well. The highlight of the night was seeing Clinton track win four consecutive 4x400 relays. Way to go Kings and Queens! Tonight the team is in action against Bettendorf here at home, before they wrap up their season with the MAC championships tomorrow night. If you see a track athlete wish them luck!
TODAY’S MENU
