We will be doing some extra cleaning and sanitizing over the next few weeks. Our attendance dropped significantly right before break and we are hoping for a positive shift in the next few weeks. Week 11 here we go! Thank you to all of our families and staff for ensuring we had an amazing Halloween! We have 17 days until Thanksgiving break. Let's try for perfect attendance for the next three and a half weeks. We can do it!

We are on to Week 10 of the year! As temps continue to drop, please remember to send your student with a coat. Hats and gloves are great too! It gets windy on the hill! We will have our Halloween Parade on Friday. No face paint please. Guns, knives, swords (any type of weapon) are not allowed.

Caretakers - We experienced a fire alarm just a bit ago. All students and staff evacuated the building safely. We have the Clinton Fire Department here now helping us with the issue. All students are safe and we will resume class shortly. It's a great day for outdoor learning!

Whatever grade level has the highest attendance percentage in a week gets an extra recess and popsicles with Principal Erwin. Second grade has hit 99% TWICE! Fourth grade hit nearly 99% once. Our district goal is to have all students and staff at 95% attendance.
If your student is sick or going to be out for another reason, please call us! We worry when the kids are gone!

Kady always goes above and beyond for her 5th grade team ensuring we are all communicated to regarding school happenings. Kady also always has a positive attitude and happy tone of voice when interacting with students, staff and parents. Kady makes sure she is at school every day for her students which is especially important now with the attendance policies and goals. Finally, Kady was ever-present at all Homecoming events and activities showing students, staff and families she is an involved teacher and parent when it comes to CCSD events and showing her Clinton pride/loyalty!

CCSD Parents/Caregivers: The Clinton Band Department will have their Instrument Rental Night on Thursday, September 18th from 5:30-7:30 PM. It will be an open house with directors hosting Q&A in the CMS Band Room while instrument acquisition will be done in the CMS Library.

Our local law enforcement officials are coming back to Eagle Heights today to conduct another training. They need some air conditioning and space. We have both to offer our friends!
