Also, don't forget to send coats, hats, and gloves. It's cold out there but the fresh air does us all some good during recess!

Have your 2nd or 4th graders talked about their extra recess and popsicles with the Principal? We started an attendance challenge three weeks ago. Whatever grade level has the highest attendance percentage in a week gets an extra recess and popsicles with Principal Erwin. Second grade has hit 99% TWICE! Fourth grade hit nearly 99% once. Our district goal is to have all students and staff at 95% attendance.
If your student is sick or going to be out for another reason, please call us! We worry when the kids are gone!
If you're having trouble getting your student to school, let Principal Erwin know. I want to help!
Have a great weekend Eagle Heights families!

We will be placing our order for winter coats through the Coats for Kids program this Friday, October 10th. If you need help purchasing a coat for your student this year, please send an email with student(s) name and size to Mrs. Boeding at stephanie.boeding@csdkq.org before 3pm on Friday. If you are unsure of size, we would suggest sizing up because these coats tend to run small. Due to uncertainty about availability of coats this year, this is short notice. Please help us out by sharing this with other Eagle Heights families who may need this resource. Thank you!

Mrs. Zuidema was nominated by her colleague, Mrs. Behr. Mrs. Behr said:
Kady always goes above and beyond for her 5th grade team ensuring we are all communicated to regarding school happenings. Kady also always has a positive attitude and happy tone of voice when interacting with students, staff and parents. Kady makes sure she is at school every day for her students which is especially important now with the attendance policies and goals. Finally, Kady was ever-present at all Homecoming events and activities showing students, staff and families she is an involved teacher and parent when it comes to CCSD events and showing her Clinton pride/loyalty!

The Homecoming Pancake Breakfast is at CHS on Friday, October 3 from 6:30-8:30 AM.
