Caretakers - We experienced a fire alarm just a bit ago. All students and staff evacuated the building safely. We have the Clinton Fire Department here now helping us with the issue. All students are safe and we will resume class shortly. It's a great day for outdoor learning!

Wednesday 15th - Storm drill - the alarm will go off for 45 seconds - please talk to your students and remind them this is practice!
Thursday 16th - Kindergarten field trip - please connect with your kindergartener's teacher for details
Friday 17th - BINGO NIGHT! 5:30-7:30 Popcorn pick up will be at bingo.
Have your 2nd or 4th graders talked about their extra recess and popsicles with the Principal? We started an attendance challenge three weeks ago. Whatever grade level has the highest attendance percentage in a week gets an extra recess and popsicles with Principal Erwin. Second grade has hit 99% TWICE! Fourth grade hit nearly 99% once. Our district goal is to have all students and staff at 95% attendance.
If your student is sick or going to be out for another reason, please call us! We worry when the kids are gone!

Kady always goes above and beyond for her 5th grade team ensuring we are all communicated to regarding school happenings. Kady also always has a positive attitude and happy tone of voice when interacting with students, staff and parents. Kady makes sure she is at school every day for her students which is especially important now with the attendance policies and goals. Finally, Kady was ever-present at all Homecoming events and activities showing students, staff and families she is an involved teacher and parent when it comes to CCSD events and showing her Clinton pride/loyalty!

CCSD Parents/Caregivers: The Clinton Band Department will have their Instrument Rental Night on Thursday, September 18th from 5:30-7:30 PM. It will be an open house with directors hosting Q&A in the CMS Band Room while instrument acquisition will be done in the CMS Library.

Our local law enforcement officials are coming back to Eagle Heights today to conduct another training. They need some air conditioning and space. We have both to offer our friends!

This is a reminder of Eagle Heights' Conference and Thanksgiving Week Schedule:
We will be dismissing at 12:45 on Monday, November 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 26. Conferences will be held from 1 to 7 on Monday, and 1-6 on Tuesday. There will be no school Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 27 through Nov. 29, nor on Monday, Dec. 2. Classes will resume on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
Just a reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, September 24, is picture day here at Eagle Heights! We cannot wait to see all of the students looking picture ready!
Attention Parents: Due to our Adventure Day being on Tuesday, October 1st, there has been a change in our dress up days for Homecoming Week. We will have Construction Day on Tuesday and Dress To Impress Day on Thursday. Please share with other Eagle Heights Parents!

Nate Herrig, head CHS football coach, accompanied BJ Cooley who recognized Mrs. Behr and Drew Steiner who recognized Mrs. Hilgendorf as a teacher who made a difference to them. These senior football team members shared their appreciation for these two amazing teachers at Eagle Heights this afternoon! What an awesome honor for our teachers.
