Inside of this office section, the interior framing is about 2/3 complete, and the electrical and HVAC rough ins are in progress. Photo 2: This is the south side of the office space. Below the roof is a long hallway with natural light on the second floor that will lead us from the A Wing to the balcony of the theater, Yourd gym, and Wellness areas. Jefferson Elementary's Day of the Dead celebration was filled with color and culture! Students enjoyed pan de muerto (bread of the dead), created their own calaveras (sugar skulls), and welcomed a special guest, Ms. Reeves, who shared a beautiful bilingual Día de los Muertos story with us.

The October Nutrition Services Employee of the Month is Sara Connolly. Sara is a kitchen helper at CHS and has been with the district for over 9 years. Sara has shown so much initiative and commitment over the past year. She has proactively stepped up and embraced new tasks and responsibilities in an ever-changing environment. We thank her for her dedication to growth and for continuously finding ways to raise the bar!

Pumpkin fun in Kindergarten! 🎃 #CCSDStudents carved pumpkins and used their five senses to discover all the unique sights, smells, and textures inside.

Fourth graders taught their kindergarten buddies how to play “Garbage.” It was great practice for both their number skills and social skills. #CCSDStudents
