Bluff Elementary students earned their first PBIS reward, which was a picnic at lunch! Students enjoyed the nice weather and their picnic! Great job to the #CCSDStudents for earning crown tickets for being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe and to the staff for recognizing these great qualities! They are trying to earn an extra recess next!

Hoax- message regarding "Attack"
Dear parents, guardians, care givers, and community members,
The Clinton Community School District has recently received communications regarding a message being shared and posted on social media platforms (Snapchat, Facebook, etc.) regarding a potential "attack" on schools.
Law enforcement has been contacted and immediately became involved; through their investigation and intelligence resources, this message has been identified as a hoax.
Please know that the Clinton Schools take threats very seriously and appreciate all that communicated information regarding this matter. The safety of our staff, students, and community is of thWe are thankful for the Clinton PD's efforts to investigate and provide immediate response and support.

Our CCSD Student Adventures (After School) Program has the most students it has ever had since the program began in the early 2000s. This is something to celebrate!

Eagle Heights Elementary hosted Daryl Michel, a national presenter and literacy advocate who inspires educators to "be the change" in promoting our students to be readers and writers. Eagle Heights staff met Daryl and connected with him at the Iowa Science of Reading Conference this summer and were gifted time with him in PD - Making Invisible Thinking Visible Through Oral and/or Written Expression!
