Hoax- message regarding "Attack" Dear parents, guardians, care givers, and community members, The Clinton Community School District has recently received communications regarding a message being shared and posted on social media platforms (Snapchat, Facebook, etc.) regarding a potential "attack" on schools. Law enforcement has been contacted and immediately became involved; through their investigation and intelligence resources, this message has been identified as a hoax. Please know that the Clinton Schools take threats very seriously and appreciate all that communicated information regarding this matter. Eagle Heights Elementary hosted Daryl Michel, a national presenter and literacy advocate who inspires educators to "be the change" in promoting our students to be readers and writers. Eagle Heights staff met Daryl and connected with him at the Iowa Science of Reading Conference this summer and were gifted time with him in PD - Making Invisible Thinking Visible Through Oral and/or Written Expression! #CCSDGoodNews
