Thank you to Lt. Governor Chris Cournoyer for giving our Kings and Coaches the opportunity to tour the Capitol this afternoon! It was really great to speak with her and hear from her about leadership, education and what her experiences have provided her. We heard a breakdown of a typical day and some of her other responsibilities. She truly is a wonderful woman who represents her constituents. Again, thank you so much Lt. Governor Chris Cournoyer for taking time out of your day for us!

The last of the concrete in the new Clinton High Theater is down, and final work is being completed to finish wall coverings. In the next few weeks, contractors are scheduled to install seating, the stage floor system, theater lighting, stage rigging, orchestra shell, and pit filler. After that work is completed and we have approval to occupy the space, staff will be trained in using the theater systems.

The February Nutrition Services employee of the month is Karen Grimm. Karen is a cashier at Jefferson Elementary and has been with the district for over a year and a half. Karen is an exceptional employee. She loves her job and the students she serves, greeting them each day with a warm smile and a hug. Due to impending ice, all Clinton School district buildings will close at 6:00 pm, today, February 5th. This includes all practices, rehearsals, activities, and meetings which must conclude by 6:00 pm. Any events scheduled after 6:00 pm are canceled.
