We have a very special Gold Key Award recipient this month: Lavina Reed
Lavina's husband and children (pictured) accepted the award at last night's board meeting as Lavina passed away in December. Lavina was a wonderful mentor and advocate for Bluff Elementary students, staff and families for 22 years. She was instrumental in developing and organizing many programs. She was a voice for all children and did her all to prepare them for life's challenges.
Lavina is most deserving and we are happy to know that she knew she was receiving the Gold Key. We are forever grateful for Lavina's dedication to our CCSD students. Thank you, Lavina.

Paul Dotterweich, Plant Services Director, shared a few words about Neil Koch (mentioned): "Neil worked up until he physically couldn't stand up any longer. Had a huge determination to beat his cancer and far passed his doctor's expectations. Loved CHS as much as life itself."
