Learn Suicide Prevention Skills with Speak Out Against Suicide at the Clinton Public Library
Individuals will learn about suicide warning signs and what to do when a person exhibits those signs from Shawn Felts, the outreach coordinator at Speak Out Against Suicide. This is a learning opportunity for any interested community member as part of Mental Health Awareness Month. If you plan to attend, please give the library a call or register through our online calendar.

NAMI Family & Friends Seminar at the Clinton Public Library
This free 90-minute program is delivered by a team of certified National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) family educators who understand your situation because they, too, have been through something similar. Their goal is to offer practical skills and information to address your immediate concerns including understanding mental health diagnoses, treatment, and recovery, effective communication strategies; the importance of self-care and crisis preparation strategies. Please register online or call (563) 242-8441.

Teachers, you have a significant, lifelong impact on your students. The education and encouragement you give daily truly matters. Thank you!

Happy #NationalSchoolNurseDay! Our school nurses make important decisions regarding students' health daily. Thank you for your efforts in keeping our students happy and healthy, nurses! We appreciate you!
