Isaiah Holmes, Lauren Kruse and Isabella Stoll were chosen to represent Clinton High School at the 2022 ICCA Honor Squad. They were selected based on cheer skills, leadership qualities and academics. This year, 171 athletes applied for the stunt portion of the performance, only 80 were selected and our 3 cheerleaders were included in the 80! We are so proud of them!
After 3 practice sessions, the Honor Squad performed at the halftimes of the 2A and 3A State Championship games on Nov. 18 at the UNI Dome.

Big smiles for Art! So fun to get out of their normal environment and get creative!
At Jefferson, they created "surprise art" and at Bluff, trees with falling leaves (tissue paper leaves)!

At the beginning of class, they were invited to raise their hand and share a "good thing". It was sweet to hear them share something good/something that makes or made them happy.

Our social workers are continually educating and spreading awareness, breaking down barriers, providing resources and support, connecting families to community resources and assisting with change to limit homelessness for our youth! We may not be able to end homelessness, but we sure can make a difference.
