Alliant Energy has begun solar panel installation at our Royal Solar Field adjacent to our athletic complex! To date, they’ve completed the majority of the support structures for the panels, and will continue solar panel installation for the next few weeks. Activity will slow down over the winter, and then they’ll install the final electrical components early next year before the project is placed into service.
Check out the project website for more information: https://www.alliantenergy.com/cleanenergy/whatyoucando/customerhostedrenewables/royalsolarfield.
