Please read below and consider supporting our CCSD student, Riley!
Riley Olmstead is a 2nd grader at Bluff Elementary. In July of 2022, Riley was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma. He underwent surgery in Iowa City and then continued treatment at St. Jude in Tennessee. Unfortunately, Riley relapsed in March of 2024, which required another brain surgery. He is continuing treatment at St. Jude at this time. The Bluff PTA would like to cheer Riley and his parents, Tracy and Jason, on by selling these 'Team Riley' shirts. Purple is Riley's favorite color!
Please click on the link below to order a shirt to show Riley and his family that we are behind them and supporting them. All proceeds from the shirt sales will go to Riley and his parents. You have until January 20th to order! Thank you for your support!

iJAG recently shared this message:
"This service project is one that keeps on giving! This holiday, students at Clinton Community School District volunteer at their local Hy-Vee for a food hunger drive. In just an hour, they helped raise nearly $2,000 for local families in need!
At iJAG, we believe continued civic service helps uplift our communities and influences the next generation of leaders."
Way to go, #CCSDStudents!

We are delighted to announce that Clinton High School has been selected to receive a Mathical Collection Development Award to expand our library’s collection of literary fiction and nonfiction books to encourage kids to discover a love of mathematics. CHS is one of 36 libraries in K–12 Title I schools nationwide to be presented with this $850 grant to purchase award-winning titles from the Mathical Book Prize list. We’re excited to share these books with our students! The grant is awarded by the Simons Laufer Mathematical Sciences Institute in partnership with School Library Journal.

CCSD has hired our first graduate who completed her degree through the TPRA (Teacher and Paraeducator Registered Apprenticeship) Program. She will be a Strategist I: Mild/Moderate Teacher at Eagle Heights.
Lauren shared: "I feel very blessed to have been given this opportunity! Going through this program has assisted me with purchasing textbooks and has covered the entirety of the cost for schooling. Without this opportunity I most likely would not have gone back to school after getting my first bachelor's degree in 2020. This has truly been a full circle experience as I am working within schools that I attended as a student alongside the amazing teachers that I was lucky enough to be taught by. I am thrilled to be on this journey and I cannot wait to positively impact my students now and in the future in my position at Eagle Heights!"
