Jefferson Elementary's Day of the Dead celebration was filled with color and culture! Students enjoyed pan de muerto (bread of the dead), created their own calaveras (sugar skulls), and welcomed a special guest, Ms. Reeves, who shared a beautiful bilingual Día de los Muertos story with us.

Fourth graders taught their kindergarten buddies how to play “Garbage.” It was great practice for both their number skills and social skills.

"I try to assist whenever and wherever I can. There is such happiness brought forth to see a child smile from an act of kindness and or caring. Really that is why we are here, to make a difference. To guide them on the right path forward." - Bob Zickau
