Learn Suicide Prevention Skills with Speak Out Against Suicide at the Clinton Public Library
Individuals will learn about suicide warning signs and what to do when a person exhibits those signs from Shawn Felts, the outreach coordinator at Speak Out Against Suicide. This is a learning opportunity for any interested community member as part of Mental Health Awareness Month. If you plan to attend, please give the library a call or register through our online calendar.

NAMI Family & Friends Seminar at the Clinton Public Library
This free 90-minute program is delivered by a team of certified National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) family educators who understand your situation because they, too, have been through something similar. Their goal is to offer practical skills and information to address your immediate concerns including understanding mental health diagnoses, treatment, and recovery, effective communication strategies; the importance of self-care and crisis preparation strategies. Please register online or call (563) 242-8441.

It's now time to start sharing our current retirees (end of the school year)...
We are sad to see them go, but know they are very deserving!
Your many years of service and dedication to the students of CCSD will never be forgotten. Thank you.
To begin, Lynnette Lott:

Working on coding skills with Coding Awbie! So great that our students get these opportunities!

Happy #NationalSchoolNurseDay! Our school nurses make important decisions regarding students' health daily. Thank you for your efforts in keeping our students happy and healthy, nurses! We appreciate you!

In honor of #TeacherAppreciationWeek, let's hear your story. Whether it be 3 years ago or 30 years ago, please share!
Teachers, you have a significant, lifelong impact on your students. The education and encouragement you give daily truly matters. Thank you!

Kayleigh, CCSD student, is being highlighted in this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd1hsqsNh38
We are so proud of her! We have four students currently
in the CHS Apprenticeship Program and four more students will be
interviewing with The Egging Co., Air Control, JT Cullen and our
newest member, Metal Tech, on May 22!

Congratulations, students! Way to go above and beyond!

Congratulations to the Clinton High School Orchestra on achieving a Division I rating at the 2023 IHSMA State Large Group Festival. This is the highest distinction an Iowa school music ensemble can attain. They have worked tirelessly to earn this honor!
