The grant program will provide opportunities for paraeducators to earn their bachelor's degree (covered by the state) all while learning and working in the classroom. The program began in the 2022-2023 school year.
The Adult-->Para Track is to be done at Eastern Iowa Community College and the Para-->Teacher Track at St. Ambrose, Upper Iowa or William Penn.
We want to showcase the current CCSD candidates that were chosen for this program. They are all working very hard, performing their paraeducator job duties while earning their degree.
All CCSD paraeducators are truly valued! They provide a great service to their colleagues and students and we appreciate each of them.

Whittier is proud of 4th Grade Teacher Sarah Shepherd, who was selected as a state-wide mentor for Computer Science implementation! Sarah was a key leader in Whittier's efforts to implement Computer Science, and she will no doubt benefit districts across the state with her experience and expertise!

Our Cross Country team hosted the 35th Annual Schoolhouse Open this week. The River Kings saw 7 runners run their personal best and 11 additional runners run faster than their time at this meet last year. As always, thank you to all who came out to support Clinton!
