Bluff is participating in "Start with Hello" week! It is a national campaign that started after the Sandy Hook school shooting. The goal is to help everyone feel welcome, included and bring a sense of belonging to youth. They had a different CHS sport team welcome students each day this week! #CCSDGoodNews

The new CHS Library (photos from the outside and inside)! The views will be wonderful as students gather, read and study. So much natural light -- a huge factor in the renovation. We can't wait to watch it come together. #CHSRenoUpdate September 2022

This year, we plan to do CCSD Staff Spotlights! We want to share our #CCSDFamily with you because they're all pretty awesome! We are kicking off with Cy - 50 years with CCSD. Here's what CCSD Plant Services Director, Paul Dotterweich, has to say about him: "While I haven't worked with Cy as much as the guys on the grounds crew, he always has the most interesting information about the history of our Plant Services department. Over the years Cy has done everything that has been asked of him and more. Times when I've wondered how we've done things in the past, he has always explained the process like a historian would. He's been here for so long that he remembers throwing salt out of the back of a pickup truck with a shovel in order to salt the parking lots. Cy is just around one of the nicest people on earth and the district is lucky to have him for so long. I truly believe that the reason Cy has been here for so long is his love for the district and the brotherly comradery with his coworkers. I know over the years, Cy has quietly expressed his pride for Friday night home football games! In the past, his grounds coworkers would recognize his excitement for these Friday night games by referring to them as "CYDAY night lights". Cy rarely misses a day of work and annually has to be reminded that he has vacation days to use up." #CCSDStaffSpotlight
